I am interested in people and psychology. At age 21 I was inspired by the psychology of Jung. Ever since I have remained eager to continuously learn more about psychology and the integration of insights in my personal and professional life. These days I facilitate the Jungian Coaching certificate program on Jung Platform.

I have a master’s degree in psychology. I have followed several Jungian trainings. I have been in training analysis for many years. This made me all-round. I have a theoretical fundament and I know how to apply these theories in personal development.

Throughout my career I have had several positions. I have conducted workshops and trainings for development agencies. I worked for almost a decade as a psychology lecturer and coach at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. For six years I have worked part-time as trainer and professional coach at SchoolvoorCoaching, a well-known training institute in the Netherlands.

I enjoy broadening horizons. This happens in conversations I have as part of my job as well as in conversations with friends and family. My horizon has also been broadened through my travels. I have lived abroad for several years. I lived in South Africa, France and Zambia. I also like reading and have a preference for books that contain psychological and philosophical reflections.

In my life I have experienced several heartbreaks and I have learned to grow and find fulfillment through experiences of painful loss. Throughout the years I have coached other people through these experiences as well and I have helped them to transcend their pain. This has led to my book ‘Psychology of heartbreak’ which is published in Dutch.
